The former heiress of the Schnee Dust Corporation, and a bona fide genius within Team RWBY. Weiss came off as a know-it-all as well as cold and demeaning, and initially didn't get along with Ruby. However, she does have a soft side and will stand by her team until the very end. She wields Myrtenaster, a rapier that channels the energy of dust to cast powerful magic through Glyphs, a Semblance ability that is hereditary in her family. Weiss has a rough relationship with her family, getting along well with her sister, but tries to distance herself from her father. After the fall of Beacon, she was forcibly escorted home to Atlas by her father, due to the public's growing distrust of the nation, but following her escape, Weiss became involved in an ongoing war with the immortal witch, Salem.
