Former member of Team STRQ, sister of Qrow, estranged mother of Yang and leader of the Branwen Tribe of Bandits. Raven looks at the world from a survivalist's viewpoint, and as no qualms about robbing, hurting or even killing civilians and Huntsmen for the benefit of herself and her tribe. She's calm, clever and calculative of every situation, and knows exactly how to play good and evil in order to get what she wants. In battle, Raven wields Omen, a rotary chamber filled with various dust blades that can link to a sword handle, granting her various elemental properties for any situation. Ever since being enlisted by Ozpin in his never ending fight against Salem, Raven's urge to survive was strengthened substantially, so she ran away from what she considered an impossible war (as well as her family) to lead her Tribe, even claiming the power of the Spring Maiden in the process. However, a spark of hope might just inspire her to return to the fight, and that spark has questions about her long-thought-dead mother.
