Mickey Mouse (Sorcerer's Apprentice)

The first appearance of Mickey Mouse's current design is in the Fantasia segment, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, where he attempts to try out the magic of his teacher Yen Sid, only to nearly flood the tower had his master not intervened. This version of Mickey would often serve as a mascot for films or events that lean on the mystical, and sometimes characters erroneously refer to Yen Sid's hat as though it were Mickey's.

This version of Mickey appears in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance as part of the world Symphony of Sorcery, where, during his training with Yen Sid, he's stuck in a trance caused by the nightmares and Sora and Riku must help him break free.
