A Shinobi of the Leaf Village, member of its noble Hyuga Clan, wife of Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki and mother of their two children, Boruto and Himawari. A dutiful housewife and loving, caring mother, she supports the efforts of her husband and son while she and her daughter stay at home and maintain the house. Though she is very patient with Naruto's busy schedule, she does wish he would come home more often, but does not condone Boruto's rebellious behavior. She is also fiercely protective of her family, defending her daughter from the attack on the Chunin Exams, attempting to rescue her husband when he's captured, and initially refusing to let her son accompany Sasuke on the dangerous mission to rescue Naruto. In the end, she chooses to believe in Boruto when she sees his determination and how much he resembles his father in his old jacket, and is also glad to see they're back on good terms with each other.
