A banana-loving ape who lives a carefree life in the Jungle with numerous friends. The only thing that can break this peace is the Kremling tribe, led by King K. Rool, who always steals the bananas. DK is as strong as they come, and can punch just about any enemy into submission. Never far from his side is Diddy Kong, his chimpy best buddy, who ends up rescuing D.K. in his own adventure. His grandfather was the Original Donkey Kong, and he often appears to compete in Mario's events.
