Banjo-Tooie Bosses by VGAfanatic Banjo-Tooie Bosses by VGAfanatic
Banjo-Kazooie by Rare (Tooie: Nintendo 64 2000)

:iconnaruto2329: requested a Banjo-Kazooie picture, and he said I could give him anything. So, I decided to make a chore out of it and draw all the bosses from each world in Banjo-Tooie! I hope he likes it, because it was prepared with him in mind.

Klungo - Minion with a Mission (later Revenge Seeking Minion & then Career-Questioning Minion)
-------------------------------------------------------
The loyal henchman of Grunty who willingly risks his neck against Banjo for her welfare...but gets clobbered in return. Everytime he is defeated by Banjo, he returns to get beatings from Grunty, which give him notable bruises and injuries. Klungo fights you by using one of three potions that increase his size, duplicate him and make him invisible. After the last fight, he gives up and resigns to Banjo's side.

Targitzan - Despotic Dizzy Totem God
------------------------------------------------
The guardian of the deepest chamber of Mayahem Temple. He challenges those who dare to use first-person shooting mode to fight him to the death for a Jiggy reward. Banjo shoots eggs at the columns of his body, taking each one out one by one. In the end, he blew himself up as a last resort.

Old King Coal - Grubby Boiler Monarch
------------------------------------------------
The conductor of Chuffy the Train, stationed in Glitter Gulch Mine. He is very picky about who gets to use his train, and when Banjo comes along, he's ready to fight to issue the contract. After a few blows, he is slowly dismembered, and then he finally gives up, allowing Banjo to drive Chuffy from place to place and giving him a Jiggy.

Mr. Patch - Strange Wobbly Inflatable Thing
-------------------------------------------------------
The king of the Big Top in Witchyworld. His gargantuan rubber body is nigh impenetrable, but only Grenade Eggs can blast the patches littered around his body. However, he calls a Punching Glove parlor trick from the ground, forcing Banjo to fight from the air. After blowing off his patches, Patch deflates and leaves a Jiggy from his remains. He will later appear in Nuts & Bolts.

Lord Woo Fak Fak - Self-Important Anglerfish
---------------------------------------------------------
A grouchy deep sea giant living in Davy Jones' Locker at the bottom of Jolly Roger Lagoon. Banjo must fire grenade eggs at the boils on his body and entice him to see his enemy, then fire the remaining blows at his peepers. Defeated and weakened, Fak lies belly-up and surrenders the Jiggy in his antenna.

Terry - Disgruntled Pterodactyl Parent
------------------------------------------------
The title character of Terrydactyland, who lives at the top of the mountain. He attacks Banjo, thinking he stole the eggs his wife left behind, and Banjo must fight back. However, he does summon Mucoids, or walking loogies, to attack him (nasty). After a good deal of blows from his egg bullets, Terry calms down and agrees to let Banjo seek out and hatch his eggs.

Weldar - Visually-Impaired Welding Torch
----------------------------------------------------
The guardian of the central depot of Grunty Industries, this creature is near-sighted, but strong. He attacks with fire blasts, walking nuts & bolts, and a drop from high above. When he tries to suck him up, Banjo must shoot a fire egg down his throat and ignite his flammable tank. After enough blows, he'll explode, inadverdently knocking out the power to the fan where his Jiggy is hidden.

Chilly Willy - Cold N' Icy Dragon
Chili Billi - Hot N' Spicy Dragon
----------------------------------------
The dragons living atop the opposing mountains in Hailfire Peaks, impatiently awaiting a pizza delivery. They attack Banjo with fiery and icy blasts as well as their hungry lizard's tongues, and Banjo must fire Ice and Fire eggs from the conveniently placed turrets. Once both are defeated, they surrender their Jiggy and decide on Take-out instead.

Mingy Jongo - Crafty Shaman Impersonator
-------------------------------------------------------
This cheesy Terminator spoof villain occupies the second Skull House in Cloud CuckooLand. He attacks Banjo by firing mean magic at him, and every time Banjo attacks, part of his shamanic disguise his knocked off of his exoskeleton. Once his outfit falls entirely, his head screws off and the android menace is vanquished.

Hag 1 - Monstrous Mechanical Mud Muncher
-------------------------------------------------------
This is the Drilling Tank that Grunty pilots and Banjo duels in the observatory in Cauldron Keep. This monstrosity serves as the final boss. This machine is also equipped with lasers, mortar cannons, toxic gas and the monstrous minions that Grunty made destroy Banjo's home. She will quiz him on his adventure to (oddly enough) give him a fair chance. After a while, Kazooie must plant a Clockwork bomb and blow out the batteries, allowing them to continue their shooting match. As a last resort, Grunty prepares a mega spell to take them out, but drops it, blowing up the tank and her bony body. You win again.

Enjoy, all and :iconnaruto2329:

Does King Coal just lose power instead of die? You blow him to smithereens, yet he's still able to talk to you and control Chuffy.

I guess. Maybe he's the train's conscince, and is able to materialize a form like that if he so chooses. Either way, we stopped acknowledging that after we beat him.

I have a question: Is Gruntilda the only boss in "Banjo-Kazooie"?

The only true "boss", yes. Some others get the boss treatment, like Nipper the Giant Hermit Crab at Treasure Trove Cove, Mutie Snippits at Clanker's Cavern, a band of Flibbits at Bubblegloop Swamp, Boss Boom Box at Rusty Bucket Bay and the Zubbas at Clck Clock Wood.

They're not really bosses, since they take very few hits to beat, but the music remixes when you fight them, so I guess Rare cut it close.

I have'nt play "Banjo-Tooie", but I see, there're more bosses than in "Banjo-Kazooie". Is the Icy-Dragon easier to defeat than the Spicy-Dragon?
